Treasured Places
Over the last 100 years, The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) has been recording Scotland's treasured places. Since 1908, RCAHMS has compiled an internationally important public archive of images and information on Scotland's built heritage past and present. To celebrate our centenary, RCAHMS is inviting the public of all ages to explore this fascinating archive through a number of exciting initiatives.
Creative Connections Touring Exhibition

From August 2008 to May 2009, the Treasured Places: Creative Connections touring exhibition will visit eleven venues across Scotland, close to the communities that participated in theTreasured Places workshops. A selection of finished works created at each workshop is showcased, alongside reproductions of the RCAHMS archive material that inspired them.
