Overview
"The Waverley Route"
This workshop provided members of the local community and The Old Gala Club in Galashiels with the opportunity to explore the history and iconic landscape and features of the Edinburgh to Carlisle railway line, known as 'The Waverley Route'. The workshop would produce a leaflet on the subject for distribution within local libraries.
The workshop was designed to facilitate the generic learning outcomes (GLOs) identified by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council's 'Inspiring Learning for All' (ILFA) framework.
